Connect printers and devices
Register a device in the dashboard, then connect a receipt printer from the BANA Sale app.
A smooth counter needs the right hardware: a receipt printer up front, and for a café, a screen or ticket printer in the back. BANA manages these as devices linked to your store — you register them in the dashboard, then connect them from the POS.
Before you start
- Your store set up — see Set up your store.
- A receipt printer powered on and on the same network as the device running the BANA Sale app.
Register a device in the dashboard
Register a device
Sign in at client.prods1.bana.com.vn, open the Inventory area, and go to Devices. Select Create, then:
- In Name, give the device a clear name (
Quầy trước— Front counter). - Set the Type and leave Status as Activated.
- Optionally add a Code and the Location it sits at.
- Select Save.
Tip: Name devices for where they live — Front counter, Bar, Kitchen. When you have several printers and tills, clear names save a lot of confusion.
Find your devices
Your registered devices all appear under Inventory → Devices, each with its name, status, and code. This is where you come back to rename a device, deactivate one you’ve retired, or add another as the shop grows.
Connect from the POS
Connect a receipt printer
Open the BANA Sale app at sale.prods1.bana.com.vn on the device at the counter, then open Settings → Printer Settings. The screen opens on a live receipt preview with a Print Test button; the Printer type and device options sit just below it.
- Under Printer type, pick how the printer connects — USB printer for one plugged into the till, or Network printer for one on your WiFi or Ethernet — then choose it under Select device (select Refresh Printers if it’s missing, or enter a network printer’s IP address and Port).
- Select Print Test to print a test receipt and confirm it works.
POS Desktop / Tablet: USB and Network printers are available in the installed BANA Sale app, which connects through the device running the POS. In a web browser, printing uses Browser print — your browser’s own print dialog — instead. If a printer doesn’t appear, check power and network, then select Refresh Printers.
Troubleshooting
- Printer offline — check power and network, then reconnect from Settings → Printer Settings in the BANA Sale app.
- Wrong device printing — confirm each printer’s name in Inventory → Devices so staff pick the right one.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to register a device before I can sell?
No. You can sell from the BANA Sale app right away. Registering devices is for managing your hardware — naming each till and printer so you can tell them apart.
My printer doesn't appear in the list. What do I check?
Make sure it's powered on and on the same network as the device running the POS, then reopen the printer settings. Most no-show printers are a network or power issue.
Can one shop have several printers?
Yes. Register each one with a clear name — Front counter, Bar, Kitchen — so staff always pick the right one when printing.
