Create a sale channel
Set up where Cà Phê Sài Gòn takes orders, so every sale is recorded against the right channel.
Every order in BANA belongs to a sale channel — the place the order came from. When you set up your store, BANA created one in-store channel for you, so counter sales already have a home. Add another whenever you start selling somewhere new, and each sale is recorded against the right channel in your reports.
Before you start
- Your store set up — if you haven’t done that yet, see Set up your store.
- The location that fills the new channel’s orders. Cà Phê Sài Gòn fills delivery orders from Default Location.
Add a delivery channel
Cà Phê Sài Gòn is starting delivery through GrabFood, so Minh adds a channel for it alongside the in-store one.
Open your sale channels
Sign in at client.prods1.bana.com.vn and go to Settings > Sale channel. You’ll see the in-store channel Tại quầy that BANA created for you — every counter sale already flows through it.
Create a delivery channel
Click Create and fill in the new channel:
- Name — enter
GrabFood. This is the name you’ll see on orders and in reports. - Status — leave it on Activated so the channel is ready to use.
- Inventory location — choose Default Location, so delivery orders draw stock from your main branch.
Click Save. Your new channel is added next to the in-store one.
What you created
Your store now records orders against two channels:
| Sale channel | Status | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Tại quầy | Activated | Everyday over-the-counter sales |
| GrabFood | Activated | Delivery orders, fulfilled from Default Location |
Verify in the sale channel list
Open Settings > Sale channel to see every channel you have. Both Tại quầy and GrabFood appear with Activated status, ready to be picked when an order comes in.
Next steps
With your channels in place, every sale lands in the right column of your reports.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create the in-store channel myself?
No. BANA creates one in-store channel automatically when you set up your store. You only add a channel when you start selling somewhere new, like a delivery app.
What does the inventory location on a channel do?
It tells BANA which branch's stock an order on that channel draws from. Delivery orders on GrabFood pull from the location you choose here, so your counts stay accurate.
Can I turn a sale channel off later?
Yes. Open the channel and set its Status to Deactivated. Past orders keep their channel, but no new orders can be placed on it until you turn it back on.
